- After running off Johnson Creek Boulevard and hitting a sign and rocks, the unfortunate Toyota Corolla came to a stop.
As the morning commuter traffic wound down on S.E. Johnson Creek Boulevard at about 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 13, a silver Toyota Corolla LX drove off of westbound Johnson Creek near 35th Avenue, knocked down a directional sign, cracked boulders, and smashed a length of wooden fence.

According to those at the scene, an eastbound car was probably responsible, having come into contact with the Toyota along the narrow winding road, which sent it careening off the roadway.
Although it thought to be an injury accident, and the Toyota’s airbags were deployed, no one involved in the accident appeared to have sustained any substantial injuries, and police were looking for the driver whose hit-and-run brush with the Toyota may have caused the accident.
