Perfect storm of construction sparks 4-car crash

With Tri-Met preparing to take down the ramp to eastbound Powell from S.E. 17th, and a new southbound ramp to 17th from Powell under construction, and light-rail related excavation and detours just north of the Powell-Milwaukie intersection, and all the new routing for drivers trying to make their way through it all, no less than four cars collided at 9:20 am on July 12th in the westbound lanes of Powell at Milwaukie.

There were no injuries or citations, but four tow trucks responded to remove the cars as drivers exchanged information, and westbound drivers waited for the road to clear again.
